Central European Cultural Studies Workgroup (CECSW)
中欧文化研究ワークグループ(以下、CECSW)は、城西国際大学(以下、JIU)で中欧の諸言語の教育に携わる教員および履修者である学生から構成されています。CECSWはJIUの教員、日本人学生、外国人学生、およびV4諸国、すなわちチェコ、ハンガリー、ポーランド、スロバキアの留学生から成るものです。 本ワークグループはチェコ、ハンガリー、ポーランド、スロヴァキアとドイツ語圏にとどまらず地域全体を 視野に入れて中欧の文化・歴史・社会・言語・文化遺産の紹介に努めています。

The Central European Cultural Studies Workgroup (CECSW) is a joint educational and cultural project of the Center for Language Education (CLE) and the Josai Institute for Central European Studies (JICES). The CECSW is made of teachers of CLE and JICES, Japanese and non-Japanese students of JIU and students from V4 countries, namely Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Slovak students.
The CECSW is a unique educational project, as it endeavours to represent through cultural events the history, the culture, the societies, the languages and the cultural heritages of the Visegrad 4 countries, namely the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, that of the German-speaking areas of Central Europe and of the entire Central European Region.
